I purchased this bike also from Frank Hubbard, "Rebel".
I think the engine was built by a fellow who worked for Sonny Angel.
Anyway, when I got the bike the engine was all together, but the chassis needed a complete restoration, what there was of it.
Again, it took me quite awhile to scrounge up all the missing parts.
The bike was never raced under my banner.
The way it worked out with the partnership, was like this.
I owned half, the partner owned half.
He wound up with the whole bike.
All in all a bad deal for the home team.
But it did increase my learning curve considerably.
I found that there's a big difference between an honest Kansas man's hand shake on a deal, and a piece of paper drawn up by an attorney.
